Highway 5A is now fully open at Stump Lake south of Kamloops this afternoon.
The highway was shut down on May 4 when Stump Lake had overflowed its banks.
It had reopened a week ago to single-lane traffic.
Road crews have now built a gravel road surface over flooded sections of the highway for two-lane traffic.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Transportation says it is in the design phase of a long-term fix to raise parts of Highway 5A at Stump Lake. It says construction could get underway in 2021.
