Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Kamloops-area mountain passes, with a late-season snow storm expected to move in tomorrow.
Up to 15 centimetres is expected to fall at the Coquihalla Summit by tomorrow afternoon, and up to 10 centimetres further could fall tomorrow evening.
The Coquihalla between Kamloops and Merritt as well the Okanagan Connector and the Allison Pass will see between five to 10 centimetres, by the end of tomorrow, according to meteorologist Matt McDonald.
On Sunday, McDonald says wet flurries are possible on Southern Interior mountain passes but are unlikely to accumulate.
The Ministry of Transportation had recently extended the chain-up and winter tire requirements for area mountain passes until April 30.
