The North Shore is gearing up for their biggest family event of the year and this year’s Overlander’s Day will be the biggest one yet.
Last year’s event had to be postponed for a month and moved from McDonald Park to Brock Park because of wildfire smoke.
This year features a stage with a diverse line up of entertainment as well as plenty of stuff for kids.
Kamloops North Shore Business Association Marketing Director Patti Phillips says the main focus is showcasing what the North Shore has to offer. “We have the business and community expo which has fifty booths.”
“It’s actually so big this year that we have a waiting list of people wanting in and if there’s a cancellation of something then I’ll be able to get them in but it is just jam packed.”
Overlander’s Day happens at Brock Park, beside the Brocklehurst arena on Sunday July 21st.
